Women's Tennis Nets Big 6-3 Win Over Bloomsburg

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC - The Bryant women's tennis team capped their Spring Break trip to Hilton Head in style with a strong 6-3 win over regional powerhouse Bloomsburg Friday afternoon.  The win improves the team's record to 9-2 on the season

Bryant opened the match winning two of three doubles points with Michelle Burke and Chelsea Downing holding on for an 8-5 win over Katie Hasyn and Alison Carney.  Valeria Couto Cuervo and Emma Czarnecki won at No. 2 doubles, 8-3.

The momentum carried for the team in the singles play as Czarnecki and Downing won in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 2 singles while Couto Cuervo and Francazio were both winners at No. 4 and No. 5 singles.
