BRYANT'S MEN'S TENNIS TEAM PICKS UP
6-3 WIN OVER STONEHILL SATURDAY
 
     SMITHFIELD, RI -  The Bryant University men's tennis team stayed undefeated in conference play thanks to a 6-3 win over visiting Stonehill here Saturday at the Bryant Tennis Courts.  The Bulldogs, winners of six-straight, entered the match fresh off a 5-4 win over Bentley College on Thursday and got solid play from doubles to open the match and took four of the six singles matches to pull out the win. 

     Erik Zipp (Darien, Wisc.) , now 8-0 in conference matches, cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 win over Stonehill's Matt Grabala (Bristol, Conn.) at No. 1  while Zach Goodman (Amherst, Mass.) and Craig Drushella (Harwich, Mass.) followed with straight-set wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles. 

      Stonehill's Mike Pelaggi (Dedham, Mass.) and Andy De Vita (Milford, Mass.) picked up singles wins for the Chieftains on the afternoon, with Pelaggi earning a 6-2, 6-3 win over Bryant's Ben Caisse (Griswold, Conn.) at No. 2 and De Vita hanging on for a 6-3, 1-6, 6-2 win over T.J. Euley (Bristol, Conn.)  at No. 5.
