WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO URI 7-0 IN SEASON OPENER WEDNESDAY
SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University women's tennis team opened its 2009-10 schedule with a 7-0 loss at home to the University of Rhode Island Wednesday at the Bryant Tennis Complex. The Bulldogs will return to action this weekend at the ITA's in Philadelphia.
Morganne Downing fell to Kirsten Leikem in straight sets 6-3, 6-1 to Kirsten Leikem at No. 1 singles while Katie Francazio fell to Pam Emery, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
