In the spring of 2009, Bryant's student-athletes posted a combined 2.97 GPA overall, marking the highest overall GPA in school history.  Four programs posted a team-average GPA better than a 3.0.</description>

      <description>SOMERSET, NJ - Four Bryant University student-athletes have been named to the Northeast Conference Winter Commissioner's Honor Roll and 18 additional student-athletes have been named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll announced this week by the conference office. &#xD;
  The Commissioner's Honor Roll honors those with a 3.75 or better grade point average.   All Scholar-Athlete award winners must have earned a minimum of 60 semester hours, maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20 and participated with distinction as a member of a varsity team.</description>
