Bulldogs Ready For Weekend Conference Tournament

LOWELL, MASS. - The Bryant baseball team, ranked third in the Northeast-10, will take on second seed UMass-Lowell Friday at 4 p.m. in the third game of the Northeast-10 Tournament.

The game will be broadcast live online at with Pat Sullivan and Brad Davis calling all of the action live.

If Bryant wins, they will play the winner of the #1 Franklin Pierce/#4 Pace Saturday at 3 p.m. If they lose, they will play the loser of that game at 11 a.m. Saturday in an elimination game.

The Bulldogs eliminated sixth-seed Southern Connecticut with a 4-2 victory over the Owls Wednesday at the Bryant Baseball Complex.  In the other quarterfinal game, #4 Pace edged #5 Bentley 5-2.

The tournament is double-elimination.

Bryant (30-20, 21-9 NE-10) is currently fifth in the latest Div. II NCAA Northeast Regional Rankings. The top six teams qualify for the NCAA Tournament, with the formal announcement coming on Sunday at 8 p.m. on
